One tiny address mistake just cost someone $2M😰.
This is exactly why you should never blindly copy a wallet address from your transaction history. Wallet 0x7Ba7f4773fa7890BaD57879F0a1Faa0eDffB3520 was trying to send funds to:

But instead, the funds were sent to this scammer address:

And here’s what makes it scary ... both addresses have the same first 6 characters and last 3 characters.
Around $2M was lost because of this one mistake.
The funds then moved through a few more addresses:
1. USDC was received by the scammer address
2. Sent to 0x692729bCd0887b8D02B8fF3169220bA0F4e17251
3. Converted to DAI through CoW Protocol
4. The entire DAI balance was then sent to 0xe2eBfD6f329A6330aB7EEE68ce1328C21d31816a
The DAI is currently sitting at that address
