The highly anticipated release of DashPay for iOS is finally here. Last year, the masternodes voted to launch Evolution using an accelerated release mode. Due to this fast-tracked approach, our initial rollout featured only a limited number of developer tools for building on Evo.
To resolve early technical challenges, the Android edition of DashPay was introduced first. When the time arrived to bring DashPay to iOS, our team encountered several obstacles. Fortunately, @SamWestrich stepped in to provide a solution. Beyond serving as the core architect behind the eventual Evolution implementation, he is also a highly capable iOS developer. He devoted his personal focus to the iOS version of DashPay and successfully completed the project.
We sincerely apologize to our iPhone community for missing out on the fun for so long, but your extended wait is officially over. You are now able to download DashPay for iOS, load some Dash, register a username, and connect with your friends on Android.
