BREAKING: Odds of Bitcoin Hitting $100,000 This Year Rise to Around 30%

Prediction markets have sharply adjusted their view on Bitcoin’s year-end price.

Following the strong rally that pushed Bitcoin above $77,000–$79,000, the implied probability of reaching $100,000 by the end of 2026 has climbed to approximately 30% on major platforms such as Polymarket. Just days earlier those odds were meaningfully lower.

The shift comes after:

> A large short-liquidation event that accelerated the price rise

> Strong inflows into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs, led by BlackRock’s IBIT

> Supportive macro signals, including the U.S. Treasury increasing long-term bond buybacks

> Renewed policy discussion around the CLARITY Act

While 30% is still well below an even chance, the rapid increase in the odds reflects how quickly market expectations can change when price momentum and institutional buying return at the same time.

Prediction markets are now pricing a clearer path to six figures than they were only a week ago.

Do you think the recent move has made $100,000 more realistic for this year, or do you still see it as a stretch?
