🔥 $XPL JUST PUMPED FROM $0.082 TO $0.107 — AND I SHORTED IT. NOW MY HEART IS RACING. 👀
I’m not going to lie… my hands were shaking when I placed the order. 😂
After watching this coin make a huge move before, I know exactly how dangerous it can be to stand in front of a low-liquidity pump.
So why did I short this time?
Because the move looks too vertical.
$XPL jumped almost 20% while the volume didn’t appear to expand with the same strength. On a thin order book, relatively small orders can move price dramatically, which makes these small-cap pumps extremely unpredictable.
But that cuts both ways.
A thin order book can send price down just as violently as it sends it up. So I’m not treating this as a “guaranteed dump.”
My levels:
🔴 $0.105–$0.107 → immediate resistance
🟡 $0.095–$0.098 → first profit-taking area
🟢 $0.082 → major support
⚠️ Above $0.112 → my invalidation zone
If price reaches the first support, I’d rather take some profit than get greedy.
And the biggest risk isn’t actually $XPL.
It’s me. 😭
The temptation to keep adding if price moves against me is far more dangerous than the original entry.
So the rule is simple:
Small position. Tight risk. No revenge trading. No averaging down.
If the whales pump it again, I’ll take the loss and walk away.
Sometimes surviving the trade is more important than winning the trade. 🫡
