#termmax @TermMax The more I study RWA, the more I come to the realization that tokenizing an asset is only half the story.
It sounds great to put a real-world asset on the blockchain, but what then happens?
Could it serve as collateral?
Is it possible for people to borrow against it?
Could it become part of a genuine financial market?
It is there that TermMax becomes interesting to me.
The idea is not just:
**Real-world asset → blockchain**
It’s more like:
**Real-world asset → on-chain → collateral → lending → fixed-term liquidity**
That seems a lot more practical.
If the RWA is to play a major role in DeFi, then I believe that we should have more than just tokenized assets stored in wallets.
We need methods for actually using those assets.
The aspect of the RWA plus TermMax story which interests me most is that.
Tokenization might be the starting point.
What gives something value is its utility.
