In DeFi, we usually talk about the rate first.
But for me, the more important question is:
“How long do I have to lock my money?”
A good rate doesn't mean much if the money is locked for longer than I expected.
That's why I find the fixed-rate idea on @TermMax interesting.
You choose the term, lock the rate, and you already have a better idea of what you're getting at maturity.
Of course, there is a trade-off.
If the market changes later, you don't have the same flexibility as a floating rate.
So I wouldn't say fixed rate is always better.
Fixed = more predictable.
Floating = more flexible.
For me, the interesting part is having both choices instead of being stuck with only one.
Still exploring TermMax and trying to understand how it works in real market conditions.
