$BCH Breaks Above $260 as BTC Leads the Move

Bitcoin Cash has gained more than 20% in 24 hours, breaking above the $250 area and pushing toward $270.

The move looks strong, but I wouldn't treat it as a BCH-only rally. BTC led the broader crypto recovery, and BCH accelerated after breaking its own resistance.

BCH spent weeks building a base around $195-$225 before moving back toward $240-$250. Once $252-$260 broke, volume expanded and short liquidations added fuel to the move.

The key level now is $252-$260. If BCH holds this zone on a pullback, the breakout becomes much more convincing.

If the breakout holds, the next levels are:
$280: first target
$300: major psychological resistance
$320-$330: larger resistance zone

Below the breakout, $240-$245 is the next support, followed by $222-$225.

The post-quantum verifier on Chipnet is an interesting BCH development, but I don't think it explains today's pump. The bigger driver is still the BTC-led market rally, with BCH's breakout and derivatives activity amplifying the move.

For now, BCH looks bullish, but $BTC remains the key variable. A BTC reversal could quickly put pressure on BCH after such an extended move.
