⚠️ The bigger flaw was asymmetry. With risk to 0.2685, targets at 0.225 and 0.205 offered only 0.567R and 1.287R.
We closed before the stop rather than defend a thesis whose recovery burden no longer made sense. This was a managed exit, not a liquidation.
Our filter from here: at least 30 historical episodes, no more than 5% equity risk at the stop, and at least 1.5R to every target.
