Why I Think Dusk Deserves More Attention
@Dusk_Foundation is interesting to me for a reason that goes beyond the usual “fast blockchain” narrative.
One of the biggest challenges for blockchain adoption is the gap between what public blockchains offer and what serious financial applications actually need. Transparency is valuable, but sensitive financial information cannot always be exposed publicly. This is where I see an important opportunity for Dusk.
The interesting part is the combination of privacy and regulated financial infrastructure. Instead of treating privacy as something that conflicts with compliance, Dusk is building around the idea that both can work together.
Think about tokenized securities, financial contracts, ownership records, or other assets where participants may need to prove something without exposing every piece of sensitive information to everyone. That type of infrastructure could become increasingly important as traditional finance moves further toward blockchain-based systems.
What makes this narrative different for me is the potential real-world impact. A blockchain does not become useful simply because it has a token or a strong narrative. The real test is whether its technology can solve problems that existing systems struggle with.
That is the area I will be watching with Dusk: can privacy-preserving infrastructure make regulated digital finance more practical, scalable, and accessible?
If Web3 is going to move beyond speculation and into larger financial markets, privacy cannot be an afterthought. It has to be part of the infrastructure from the beginning.
That is why I’m keeping Dusk on my watchlist and following how the ecosystem develops.
