@Dusk’s January incident notice caught my attention more than the DUSK Chart.
The interesting part wasn’t only the exploit but the wording. Dusk said monitoring detected unusual activity involving a team-managed wallet, bridge services were paused, and no user funds were Impacted.
At the same time, external trackers described the unauthorized movement of DUSK through the Dusk-to-EVM bridge, with losses reportedly reaching Millions.
Same event, very different Framing.
for me, that gap raises a bigger question: how does a privacy and compliance-focused network handle disclosure when infrastructure around the core protocol gets Hit?
Dusk was quick to clarify that DuskDS itself wasn’t affected, but the full scale of the incident appeared less clear initially.
I’m not claiming a final number because I haven’t independently verified the complete flow.
but that’s exactly what I’d like to see: on-chain evidence, wallet movements, and a clear Timeline.
Did anyone actually trace the January flows themselves instead of relying only on trackers or Announcements?
