🔥 BTC is above $72K — but one question is becoming more important: What is REALLY driving this rally?

The rhythm of the crypto market has changed dramatically over the past few days.

$BTC broke out of its long trading range and surged above $72K. $ETH followed toward the $2,300 area, while $BNB also moved higher with the broader market.

But the price itself may not be the most interesting part.

Several forces are moving at the same time:

🔹 U.S. Treasury bond buybacks have revived liquidity expectations
🔹 Massive short liquidations accelerated the rally
🔹 U.S. crypto regulatory expectations are heating up again
🔹 Capital is beginning to spread from BTC into ETH and other majors

So the real question is no longer:

“Can Bitcoin go higher?”

It’s this:

When the SHORT SQUEEZE starts fading, will REAL BUYERS take over?

If volume and capital flows remain strong, this move could evolve from a liquidation-driven rally into broader market participation.

If fresh capital fails to follow, however, elevated volatility could work in both directions.

What I’m watching next:

👀 Can BTC hold its new range after the breakout?
👀 Can ETH continue gaining strength relative to BTC?
👀 Will BNB and other majors attract sustained capital rotation?

Phase 1: Breakout.
Phase 2: Short squeeze.
Phase 3: Real capital.

The next few days may tell us much more than the breakout itself.
