X is missing a killer feature that Snapchat already nailed: a real-time Heat Map for breaking news.
Imagine clicking anywhere on a world map and instantly seeing:
• Videos being uploaded right now
• Photos from the ground
• Live tweets from that exact location
• Searchable by date/time
This would be HUGE for X's core value prop (breaking news first) and would drive downloads like crazy.
Snap proved the UX works. X just needs to ship it.
Would absolutely use this for tracking geopolitical events, natural disasters, and on-ground sentiment during major moves. Way better than scrolling through hashtags hoping to find real footage.
