The real signal will be how this performs once actual financial workflows start using it.

#dusk $DUSK @Dusk I’ve been looking at Dusk’s native issuance angle and kept coming back to one distinction: putting an existing asset on-chain is not the same as building the asset’s lifecycle around the chain.
Tokenization can create an on-chain representation of an existing asset. Native issuance goes further by allowing more of the asset lifecycle to happen within the same infrastructure when the institution, venue and regulatory framework support it.
That distinction changed how I look at @Dusk
If issuance, ownership records and settlement can operate around the same infrastructure, the question is no longer simply “is the asset tokenized?”
It becomes: how much of the operational lifecycle can actually move on-chain before the remaining off-chain requirements become the bottleneck?
Some controls will inevitably remain off-chain for regulated assets. That isn’t necessarily a weakness. The real test is whether Dusk can make the boundary between those required controls and the on-chain state cleaner and easier to reconcile.
For me, that is more interesting than the tokenization headline itself: how much operational friction can actually disappear once the asset is native to the infrastructure?
