🚀 Day 4 – From Predictable DeFi to Institutional Grade Capital Markets
Having reflected on predictability in DeFi and its value, my mind turned to the following questions:
👉 Who can benefit from the predictability of capital?
In my view, one important answer here is institutions.
Institutions typically require not just liquidity but also clear terms, defined risk parameters, defined counterparties and planning of capital.
This is where @TermMax comes into play.
The fixed-term and fixed-rate framework can enable a more structured market where the participants know:
🔹 The period of commitment
🔹 The rate received
🔹 The expected maturity
🔹 How to plan capital
And with TermPrime, the concept acquires even more relevance for institutional participants in known, KYB'd counterparties and defined credit relationships.
For me, this is one of the key points towards the creation of DeFi markets which look less like a market driven by short-term rates and more like a financial infrastructure for capital planning.
