I’ve been looking into Dusk lately, and honestly, the compliance angle keeps coming back to me.
A lot of crypto projects seem to treat compliance like an extra layer added later when regulators start asking questions. That never felt like a great long-term solution to me.
What I like about Dusk is that they’re thinking about it from the beginning. The rules can be built into the smart-contract execution itself, instead of depending completely on outside checks.
And the privacy side is important too.
I don’t think institutions will ever want to put sensitive financial information completely in the open. But they still need rules, verification, and clear auditability. That’s where the use of ZK technology gets really interesting.
I’m still cautious, though.
Good technology doesn’t automatically mean adoption. I want to see actual assets moving, real users participating, and institutions genuinely using the network.
That’s the part I’ll be watching.
For me, Dusk isn’t about the hype. It’s about whether this architecture can actually work in the real financial world.
If it can, this could get very interesting.
