Most "tokenization" news makes me skeptical by default .. a real asset goes onto a blockchain and just sits there, illiquid, priced by nobody. A token alone doesn't fix that.
What caught my attention about the Dusk, NPEX, and Chainlink deal is that it targets the part nobody markets well: interoperability and data. CCIP lets NPEX's tokenized securities move across chains instead of being stranded on one. DataLink and Data Streams give them a real, sourced price feed instead of a number someone typed in.
The detail that makes it feel less theoretical: NPEX already had over €200 million in SME financing and 17,500+ active investors before any of this existed. This wasn't infrastructure built hoping activity would show up later. It was bolted onto something already running.
Whether it gets meaningfully used is still an open question. But for once, the order feels right.
