Twenty-eight long-dormant Bitcoin wallets transferred 1,314.41 BTC over the past 24 hours, with 2014-created wallets accounting for 1,214.42 BTC, or 92.4% of the total. According to ChainCatcher, 21 of the transfers were made in 50-BTC increments, moving funds from legacy P2PKH wallets to new P2WPKH addresses, and some transactions were completed in the same block.

Arkham entity labels have not yet shown any connection between these addresses and the transaction owners. The holders of the 2014 wallets reportedly bought Bitcoin at about $310 to $427, implying gains of at least 16,645%.

In addition, three 2016 wallets transferred 79.99 BTC, while two 2017 addresses moved 20 BTC.
