$BTC BTC's +10% Day Has a Warning Sign Most People Are Skipping

BTC just ran from a 24h low of $64,793 to a high of $72,490 — a straight double-digit move in a single day, now sitting around $71,940. The chart backs it up: price cleared the MA(7), MA(25), and MA(99) all at once, which is about as clean a bullish crossover as you'll see.

Here's the part that's bugging me though. Zoom into the 15-minute order book and it's showing 85.61% on the ask side versus 14.39% on the bid. That's a massive imbalance toward sellers, right at the top of a vertical move. Most people are reading this purely as "breakout confirmed" — moving averages agree, momentum is obvious, why overthink it.

But a move this steep, this fast, tends to attract exactly the kind of selling pressure we're seeing right now. Early buyers who caught the run from $64K are sitting on quick gains, and that order book imbalance looks like distribution starting, not fresh conviction stepping in.

I'm not saying the trend is over. Moving averages don't lie about direction. But treating a parabolic 24-hour candle as automatically "safe" because the technicals aligned ignores what the order flow is actually showing right now.

Is this a genuine breakout, or a crowd chasing a candle that already ran too far, too fast?
