The more I look into tokenized assets, the more I think we may be focusing too much on the token itself.
Creating a token is one thing. But what happens when someone actually wants to buy, sell, hold, or transfer that asset?
That’s where Dusk caught my attention.
Dusk Trade is being built around the less exciting—but probably more important parts: investor onboarding, eligibility checks, wallet connection, payment coordination, trading and settlement.
For me, this changes how I look at RWA. Putting an asset onchain doesn’t automatically create liquidity.
So here’s the question I’m still thinking about:
Does tokenization really improve liquidity if there aren’t enough buyers and sellers?
I’d genuinely like to hear different views on this.
