The last couple weeks have felt good. Watching the market claw back after months of red candles BTC pushing back near 70k it's a relief Like finally exhaling That kind of mood always pulls me back into DeFi rabbit holes and this week it was @TermMax
Quick context if you don't know it tmax is a fixedrate lending protocol i lock up collateral borrow against it and my debt gets minted as an FT token basically a receipt that says exactly what i owe and when. No floating rate creeping up on me while i sleep and repaying debt with FTs straight on Etherscan. Normally closing a leveraged position dumps collateral on the open market to cover what owe and if liquidity's thin i eat the slippage. Instead i can buy FTs back off the market sometimes for less than face value and use them to close my own loan directly and no forced sell.
I like that. It only works because the debt itself is a transparent tradable token not some hidden number sitting in a backend. That's honest design But this isn't beginner stuff. You're pasting contract addresses into Etherscan and hitting write functions with real money attached. One typo and it's gone for good. Tmax is also still small around 31 million in TVL so don't mistake a clever mechanic for a proven one and try the manual repay on a small position first, check every address twice and don't let one green week talk you into more leverage than you'd carry in a red one.
