One Detail about Hedger completely changed how I view dusk's privacy approach.
They aren't building a black box.
Using homomorphic encryption And ZK proofs, Hedger can Shield transaction amounts And balances While sender And receiver addresses remain visible. Sensitive information can still be disclosed to authorized parties when auditing is required.
That's more interesting to me than simply calling it “private transactions.”
It looks Like privacy designed with regulated finance in mind, Where confidentiality and accountability have to exist together.
Right now, DuskEVM is on testnet and Hedger is in alpha.
so the next thing I’ll be watching isn't just whether the technology work.
it's whether developers actually build Around it.
