According to reports from today’s White House crypto event, Trump said regulators are working to bring Hyperliquid into the U.S. “in a fully compliant legal fashion.”

Important detail: this is not “Hyperliquid is already approved tomorrow.” It is more like the U.S. is trying to open the legal door for platforms that were basically too spicy for American users before.

At the same time, Trump again pushed the idea that the U.S. could buy “significant” amounts of BTC and other crypto assets.

So the signal is pretty clear:
-crypto regulation is becoming a political weapon

-DeFi platforms are moving closer to legal U.S. access

-BTC is being discussed as a strategic asset, not just a trade

-Hyperliquid suddenly got mentioned at the highest level

My take: if the U.S. really starts legalizing access to serious on-chain trading platforms, this is not just good news for one project. It means DeFi is slowly moving from the casino basement into the regulated financial arena. 👀
