CATBAT Dev Update: CMCB
💰 Choose How You Get Paid, and a Fee Update
When you claim, you can now pick how you receive it: SOL or $CATBAT.
- If you claim in SOL, there's now a 2% fee on the rent you recover.
- If you claim in $CATBAT, there's NO SWAP fee.
The fee for claiming is back on. It used to be higher, and we brought it down to 2%, which is more competitive than what some well established tools charge. Whatever option you pick when you claim is locked in and shown on your confirmation screen, so there's no confusion after the fact.
🚫 Affiliate Program Is Shut Down
The affiliate/referral program is closed for good, for legal reasons. This isn't just hidden from view, the actual code that paid people out has been removed completely.
🌗 Light Mode Is Here
CMCB used to only have dark mode. Now you can switch to light mode too. There's a toggle in the navbar, it remembers your choice, and the page loads in the right mode right away (no flash of the wrong colors).
🎨 New Landing Page and Claim Screen
We rebuilt parts of the site to make things clearer:
- You can now choose in the pop up if you want to claim SOL or $CATBAT
- The pop up now shows estimated value of SOL or CB you can claim
- Text is easier to read, and the popup loads automatically once your wallet is connected.
- Scrolling on mobile is fixed.
- The layout at the top of the page was reordered so the important stuff (the button to claim) is easier to find.
🐱 New Branding
We refreshed the look of the site, updated the FAQ page, and added proper Terms and Privacy Policy pages. The little icon in your browser tab (favicon) now shows the CATBAT logo.
🐛 Smaller Fixes
A few other things behind the scenes:
- Set a minimum balance requirement so payouts made sense before the program was shut down.
- Rotated (changed) the wallet address that collects fees, for security.
- Cleaned up some code to prevent broken links to images.
