#dusk $DUSK recently I was looking at Official documents about how @Dusk handles network problems and noticed something that changes how I think about it.

Most blockchains have a weakness nobody talks about.

When validators go offline or the network gets congested, the whole system can pause.

You're waiting for consensus.
Nothing happens.
The chain stalls.

Then I read about Dusk's emergency block feature.

If validators can't reach normal consensus after too many failed rounds, Dusk produces an empty block instead.

It's not perfect. It's not filled with transactions.

But the chain keeps moving.

Here's what that means: Dusk chose to keep the network running over keeping it perfect.
That's different and instresting for me what other projects do.

I think it's actually smart for institutions.

A bank doesn't want a blockchain that sometimes freezes because consensus got stuck.

Banks care about consistency.
Predictability.
The system keeps working even when something goes wrong.

Emergency blocks are like a backup.
Not ideal.
But it means Dusk never stops.

I realized this shows how Dusk works differently about reliability.

Most blockchains optimize for security or decentralization first.

Dusk seems to optimize for "the network stays alive."

That's not a technical detail. That's a philosophical choice about what matters.

For someone moving money through Dusk, this is important.

You know the chain won't suddenly pause mid-transaction because validators can't reach perfect agreement.

Dusk has a safety mechanism built in.

I'm curious if institutions actually evaluate this when they look at Dusk.
