One thing I’ve started noticing while exploring blockchain projects is that the same technology can make very different choices depending on who it is built for.

Ethereum has built its reputation around open, transparent activity. That transparency is powerful, but for financial institutions, showing every transaction publicly can create uncomfortable questions around strategies, counterparties, and sensitive data.

Dusk takes a different direction. Its design puts more focus on financial privacy while still considering the compliance requirements of regulated markets. Phoenix supports confidential transactions, while Moonlight provides a transparent model.

To me, this isn’t really about choosing which blockchain is “better.” It’s about understanding what different users actually need.

Poll: Which approach fits regulated finance better?
