|||| I Looked at the TermMax Numbers… Then I Remembered What Happens When Markets Turn Ugly ||||
I was checking the TermMax dashboard late one night, half tired, coffee next to me — and the first thing I noticed was the $31.23M TVL.
Then I saw active loans around $27.28M.
Now thats actually interesting.
A lot of DeFi dashboards look impressive until you ask what the capital is really doing. Here, a big chunk is being used as loans, and the annualized fees are around $314K with revenue near $313K.
But I’ve learned something from watching crypto for years — numbers look very different when the market gets punched in the face.
I remember one market dump where everything looked fine in the morning. By evening, liquidations were flying, gas was crazy and suddenly everybody wanted liquidity at the same time. Thats when you find out which systems are actually built properly.
So yeah, TermMax has my attention.
But I’m not going to sit here and say “$31M TVL = safe.” No way.
The real story starts when collateral falls hard, lenders want out and borrowers start scrambling.
Can the system handle that moment?
Thats the question I’d be watching.
Because in crypto, the boring days show you the product.
The bad days show you the truth. 👀
