#termmax @TermMax I’ve been staring at TermMax’s TGE announcement for an hour now, and honestly?
The $90M TVL and 1.5M wallets aren’t what got me. It’s the fine print.

Buried in their own docs:
the official UI isn’t actually the best way to close leveraged positions. If you want the lowest slippage, you have to bypass the app entirely and unwind manually on Etherscan.

Think about that for a second.
The very interface designed to make DeFi “easy” is quietly costing you money. Meanwhile, the users who know how to read a smart contract get premium execution. Same protocol. Same XP accrual. Completely different outcome.

This isn't some evil master plan it's just how open finance works. The UI is the gateway, not the engine. But here's the uncomfortable question nobody's asking: if we're building for mass adoption, why is the "easy button" the expensive one?

TermMax might fix this before their Aug 25 TGE. Or they might not. Either way, I'm not mad about it I'm just paying attention. Because in DeFi, the difference between using the app and knowing the contract? That's not a bug. That's the whole game.

Are we building for newcomers, or just for those willing to dig deeper?
