#dusk $DUSK I started looking at Dusk because the privacy + regulated finance story made sense.

Then I checked where the DUSK supply actually sits.

That changed my view.

The network explorer shows roughly 571M DUSK in total supply, but about 211M is staked and another 355M is sitting in bridge-related balances. That leaves less than 5M as liquid supply by that snapshot.

At the same time, the chain is still processing only around 174 transactions a day, with just 8 contract calls in the same 24h snapshot.

That creates a question I didn't expect.

If Dusk succeeds at becoming infrastructure for regulated assets, does that success actually create proportional demand for DUSK?

Or can the financial activity grow while the token remains mostly a security/settlement fuel whose economic importance is determined more by staking and supply structure than by the value of the assets moving through the network?

The technology isn't what made me pause.

The relationship between the network's ambition and the token's actual economic role did.@Dusk_Foundation
