One thing about Dusk’s economics is easy to miss: more network activity does not automatically mean less inflation. Transaction fees become part of the block reward, while scheduled DUSK emissions continue to decline over time. That makes the real metric more interesting than transaction count alone. If regulated assets and confidential contracts eventually create meaningful activity, can fee generation become large enough to carry more of the network’s economic weight as emissions decline? That’s the transition I’d watch. A busy blockchain can still depend heavily on incentives. A sustainable one eventually needs real usage to pay for real security.

Would you track fee revenue or transaction count as the stronger adoption signal?
