Checked something on Dusk this week: Quantoz brought the digital euro EURQ onto the network. Honestly, that completes what most miss.
Hmm. On-chain exchanges have compliant assets and platforms. But settlement still runs on USDT, which regulators do not recognize. Compliant everywhere except the money.
EURQ fills that gap. MiCA-regulated, Dutch Central Bank supervised, reserves in tier-one banks. I checked what separates it: regulatory standing. Legally a real euro on a different medium.
NPEX → DuskTrade → EURQ Settlement → DuskPay → Full Compliant Loop
I kept coming back to what this completes: issuance to trading to clearing, every link on the compliance line. Worth noting: EURQ is not exclusive to Dusk. I am watching whether the loop runs when volume arrives.
Does settlement currency compliance matter to traders, or does usability win every time?
