I almost skipped DUSK again.

I’d been watching @Dusk for a while, and when I finally took a small test position, the part that clicked for me wasn’t the usual “privacy blockchain” pitch. It was the way privacy and compliance are designed to work together.

Most financial activity doesn’t need to be completely public. But institutions also can’t just say “trust us” when regulators come knocking.

Dusk takes a different route: zero-knowledge tech can keep sensitive transaction details private while still allowing the information that actually needs to be verified to remain auditable.

That distinction matters more than I initially thought.

The network is built around regulated assets, issuance, trading and settlement, while $DUSK handles things like gas and staking.

I’m still treating my position as a test rather than betting big, but after digging deeper, I understand why Dusk took its time. It’s not trying to make finance anonymous. It’s trying to make it private without making it unverifiable.
