I've noticed that Dusk Network makes more sense to me when I look beyond the usual privacy narrative.
In traditional finance, institutions cannot put every investor identity, ownership record, or transaction detail on a fully transparent blockchain.
That creates a real need for confidentiality, and Dusk is trying to build around that problem. Still, I am not ready to assume that good technology automatically leads to real adoption.
I keep asking who is using the network today, who genuinely needs it, and whether meaningful capital is actually moving through it.
I also want to see if developers are building applications that people return to, not projects that become quiet once grants and incentives run out. The DUSK token matters to me only if the network gives people a natural reason to use it through fees, staking, settlement, or other real activity.
If most demand comes from speculation and short-term market excitement, I know that demand can disappear quickly. Regulation may create an opportunity because institutions need privacy without losing compliance,
but governments, banks, custodians, and investors move slowly. They need legal clarity, reliable identity systems, strong liquidity, and trust before committing serious money.
That is why I am watching instead of rushing to buy. I can understand what Dusk wants to become, but I still need to see regular transactions, active developers, serious asset issuers, and users who remain when rewards decrease.
For me, the real question is simple: can Dusk become infrastructure that finance actually depends on, or will it remain a strong idea waiting for its market?
