What caught my attention isn’t that $XRP fell below $1.

It’s the gap between Ripple’s business growth and the token’s price.

Ripple just announced another Korean bank partnership, with Jeonbuk Bank using Ripple Payments for cross-border transfers. More institutional infrastructure is being built around Ripple’s ecosystem.

But there’s an important detail: Ripple has increasingly positioned $RLUSD as a settlement asset for institutional use.

That made me wonder:

If banks can use Ripple’s infrastructure without needing XRP directly, how much of that adoption actually flows back to the token?
The XRP Ledger is growing too, but $RLUSD already makes up a large share of its tokenized asset value.

Maybe the bigger question isn’t whether Ripple is gaining adoption.

It’s whether that adoption creates demand for XRP .
