#dusk stake abstraction thing — Hyperstaking — the docs specify contracts need the same 1,000 DUSK minimum as regular wallet stakers, and stake only goes active after a 4,320 block maturity window, roughly 12 hours. Nothing exotic there. What got me was checking who's actually using it. Sozu is the flagship Hyperstaking partner right now, and their live product is… delegated staking. That's it. The pitch decks talk about privacy-preserving staking, referral yield loops, liquid staking tokens — the whole programmable-stake fantasy. What shipped first is the boring version: stake without running a node.
@Dusk_Foundation Kind of makes sense though, hold up — the fancy stuff needs liquidity and integrations that don't exist yet. The simple utility is what's actually load-bearing right now, not the narrative layer. $DUSK holders get the "basic" thing first, builders get to promise the rest later.
Not mad about it, just noticing the gap between the roadmap language and the block-by-block reality when you actually go look.
Makes me wonder how many "programmable" protocols are really just... one boring use case wearing a bigger jacket.
