A business might need certain transactions to remain confidential. Another application may need transparency for easier tracking and interaction. Building for only one of those cases can limit where the network actually gets used.
That’s one reason @DuskFoundation caught my attention. The idea isn’t simply to make everything hidden. Dusk’s architecture supports both transparent and confidential transaction models on the same network, which makes privacy feel more like a choice than a fixed rule.
But that flexibility also raises a harder question.
More options can be useful for developers, yet they can also create more complexity. The technology only becomes valuable if users and applications can choose the right level of privacy without needing to understand everything happening underneath.
I think that may be the real adoption test for Dusk. Not whether confidential technology works in theory, but whether it can fit naturally into financial applications where different users have different needs.
If privacy becomes something that works quietly in the background instead of another complicated feature to manage, that could be where the real value starts to appear.
That’s the part I’ll be watching as @DuskFoundation continues to build.
