According to Jin10, China’s three major stock indexes opened lower and then fluctuated downward in morning trading, with the ChiNext Index briefly falling more than 2% before narrowing its losses near the midday close; the Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.39%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 1.09%, and the ChiNext Index fell 1.3% at midday. The combined turnover of the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets reached 1.64 trillion yuan in the first half of the day, up 139.3 billion yuan from the previous trading day, while more than 3,900 stocks fell across the market. Grain-related stocks extended their gains, led by genetically modified crops, with Qiule Seed Industry at one point hitting the 30CM limit up; Nongfa Seed Industry, Beijing Grain Holdings, Wanxiang Doneed, Denghai Seed Industry, and Yasheng Group all hit limit up. Hog stocks were active, with Luoniushan rising for a second straight limit-up session and Tech-Bank Food hitting limit up. Fertilizer, dairy, and glass substrate stocks were among the top gainers, while AI-related stocks weakened, with Daheng New Epoch Technology, China Television Media, and Cambricon Technologies among those falling. The computing power leasing sector also declined, with Hongbo Co. falling more than 9% and Xingyun Technology, Jinkaixineng, Huijin Shares, and Qunxing Toys all falling more than 5%; software development, cloud office, and gaming stocks were among the biggest decliners.
