A small DUSK test position had me thinking twice today. I didn’t lose much, but it made me look past the price and actually revisit what Dusk is building.

What stands out to me isn’t simply “privacy.” It’s the idea of making privacy selective.

Traditional finance can’t just put everything on a public ledger, but completely closed systems make verification and settlement painfully fragmented. Dusk’s approach—using zero-knowledge proofs and selective disclosure—tries to sit between those two extremes: sensitive data stays protected, while authorized parties can still verify what they need.

That matters more than it sounds. For regulated assets, privacy without auditability is a problem; auditability without privacy is also a problem.

I’m still cautious with $DUSK, and I’m not pretending my small position proves anything. But watching DuskEVM develop has made me more interested in the infrastructure than the short-term chart.
