ALTCOIN SEASON IS STILL IN BALANCE
The Altcoin Season Index is sitting at 50, which tells me the market is pretty much in the middle right now. Neither Bitcoin nor altcoins have a clear upper hand.
For context, an index below 25 signals Bitcoin Season, while above 75 points toward Altcoin Season. At 50, traders are still waiting for a stronger direction.
That doesn’t mean there aren’t opportunities. A few altcoins I’m keeping on my radar are ETH, SOL, and XRP.
Ethereum continues to lead in smart contracts and DeFi, Solana stands out for speed and low fees, while XRP remains focused on fast cross-border payments.
For me, the key right now is patience. The market hasn’t picked a clear side yet, so I’d rather watch the trend develop than chase every move.
