AI coding tool Cursor has launched Origin, a code hosting feature now available in early beta to all paid users. According to ChainCatcher, the feature supports creating new repositories, two-way synchronization with GitHub repositories, and built-in pull requests, code browsing, and AI Agent integration.

Users can read code, ask questions, make edits, and merge PRs within the same interface. Comments on synchronized GitHub repositories also sync both ways, with Cursor comments sent to GitHub and replies on GitHub reflected back in Cursor.

Origin also integrates with Vercel, Depot, and Buildkite, allowing PRs to automatically generate preview deployments. Cursor said it plans to add more native Agent features in the future. Enterprise users can opt out of the beta through an administrator.
