Dusk Network is one of those projects that makes me think about where blockchain adoption is actually heading.

Instead of focusing only on speculation, Dusk is building infrastructure for regulated finance, where privacy, compliance, and fast settlement all need to work together. Its Layer 1 combines confidential transactions, zero-knowledge technology, selective disclosure, and deterministic settlement.

What I find interesting is the balance: financial institutions can keep sensitive information private while still providing verifiable information when regulators or authorized parties need it. That could be important for tokenized securities, private markets, and other real-world financial assets.

Dusk also has DuskEVM for familiar Solidity development, while its native layer supports ZK smart contracts and privacy-focused applications.

We’re still early, but I think infrastructure like Dusk deserves attention. If blockchain is going to move beyond crypto-native use cases, privacy and compliance cannot be afterthoughts. They need to be part of the foundation.
