#dusk $DUSK
$VELVET and $BTW are moving but i kept coming back to something else.
originally thought dusk privacy was just another “hide the amounts” setup.
one detail in how selective disclosure actually works made me rethink that.
you can keep the full transaction private by default, then generate a proof that only reveals the exact piece an authorized party is allowed to see. the rest never leaves the private state. the contract just verifies the proof and records a public session.
thats the part that stuck.
most privacy systems either leak too much or become almost unusable for anything regulated. this one is built so the two sides can sit next to each other without forcing a hard choice.
