Dusk’s EVM Move Solves One Bottleneck

Hey everyone, DUSK is moving into an interesting position: it’s trying to make privacy-focused finance easier to build without forcing developers to abandon Ethereum’s ecosystem.

The DuskEVM testnet addresses the developer-friction problem by bringing Solidity and Hardhat into Dusk’s environment, while its Hedger module can introduce confidential transaction flows.

But the bigger question isn’t compatibility—it’s demand.

EVM support lowers the barrier to deployment, yet it doesn’t automatically create users, liquidity, or regulated financial applications. DUSK’s structural challenge is converting technical flexibility into real network activity.

That makes the debate simple: does DuskEVM become a genuine bridge between Ethereum developers and privacy-preserving finance, or just another EVM-compatible chain competing for the same builders?

For DUSK, execution and adoption now matter more than the feature list.
