$DUSK 1,000 minimum stake: Fair or too high?
The 1,000 $DUSK requirement is one thing I kept coming back to while looking deeper into Dusk.
Honestly, I have mixed feelings about it.
On one hand, requiring real capital makes sense. With 174 active Provisioners and over 196M DUSK currently staked, having skin in the game keeps participation serious and stops low-cost spam.
But on the flip side, 1,000 $DUSK is a pretty serious entry barrier for smaller holders who want to run their own nodes without relying on pools.
Staking pools and stake abstraction help bridge that gap, sure. But the direct protocol threshold is still worth debating.
Good for security, maybe. But is it ideal for true decentralization?
What do you guys think?
