DuskEVM Makes DUSK More Interesting for Ethereum Developer.
I was looking at the DuskEVM testnet update, and the part that caught my attention was actually pretty simple. Ethereum developers already know Solidity and Hardhat, so being able to use those familiar tools on Dusk makes the move feel a lot less complicated.
I think that matters because developers usually don’t want to learn an entirely new stack just to test an idea. If the tools they already use can connect with Dusk, then it becomes easier to see what can actually be built there.
But the more interesting part for me is what comes after that. DuskEVM is not just about making Dusk look more like Ethereum. The bigger idea is bringing that familiar EVM environment into a network that is focused on privacy and financial use cases.
So now developers can experiment with
Solidity-based apps while also looking at confidential financial flows through Dusk’s infrastructure. I’m still curious to see what people actually build on the testnet,
