New users logging into ZCode for the first time were eligible to receive 100 million GLM-5.3 tokens, which could be used for AI programming, code editing, and agent-based tasks. The event was originally scheduled to run from midnight (Beijing time) on August 16 until 9:00 AM on August 17. However, just one hour in, ZCode announced a suspension of the 100-million-token distribution. An official statement cited participation demand that "exceeded expectations" and noted that service capacity was being adjusted.
