This is what most miss about @Dusk — security isn't validators count, it's stake weight. Ten large provisioners holding the majority of stake outweigh 100 small ones with marginal weight.

The same illusion exists with the Byzantine stake. 20% to 30% isn't +10%, it's 50% more adversarial capital. And 30% vs 33.3% vs 35% isn't linear — crossing one-third breaks the security assumption entirely.

That's why architecture matters. The old Bid / Stake / Reward model distributed responsibilities. The current Stake + Transfer model consolidates provisioners, stakes, rewards, and validator-set logic into a single Stake contract.

It simplifies accounting and control, but it also concentrates systemic pressure into one contract and one stake-weighted set.

For $DUSK, the validator count is the surface. Stake concentration is the signal.
