I’ve been looking at Dusk less as a privacy narrative and more as a valuation question: how much of the technology is actually being reflected in the network today?
@Dusk_Foundation is targeting financial applications where confidentiality, selective disclosure and compliance can matter just as much as decentralization. Its EVM compatibility also lowers the barrier for developers who already understand Ethereum-style tooling.
But the interesting part is the gap between the story and measurable adoption. TVL and network activity still need to prove that the infrastructure is attracting sustained demand, while $DUSK has roles in gas and staking that give the token practical utility.
I also like that Dusk’s current consensus direction has evolved toward committee-based provisioner selection rather than relying on older blind-bid descriptions. That distinction matters when judging the network as it exists today.
So I keep coming back to one question: when real financial activity starts using Dusk at scale, will actual demand finally catch up with the technology already being built?
