most proof of stake chains ive looked at just have validators doing everything...

propose an block, vote on it, done. dusk splits that job in two.
generators propose blocks. provisioners validate and finalize them. diferent roles, different extraction methods even,

generators get pulled through a bidding process, provisioners through committee sortition and actually no, thats not quite the interesting part. the interesting part is that generators get

extracted privately, nobody knows who's proposing the next block until they do it. thats a real answer to the front running problem you get when leader selection is public.

still not sure how the two roles..

interact under load, does splitting the job add resilience or just more places for something to break??
