My mother had a house to sell, with a market value of around $150k.

Because my mother was not very familiar with the process, we went together to the land office to gather information with the buyer.

The fact that the transaction was completed safely made me realize that the process was actually reasonable.

That is why, when I started looking into @dusk, its architecture felt familiar to me.

Dusk is not simply trying to make financial data private. It is building programmable privacy for regulated markets — privacy where needed, transparency where useful, and selective disclosure when authorized parties need to verify information.

Technically, this is where things get interesting.

At the infrastructure level, Dusk also focuses on deterministic settlement and regulated asset workflows, while its approach to native issuance aims to move more of an asset’s lifecycle directly on-chain rather than simply creating a token that represents an asset held elsewhere.

For me, this is the interesting part of Dusk: not privacy as a feature added later, but privacy, compliance and settlement being considered together at the infrastructure level.
