The S&P 500 closed at 7,798.99 on August 13, a new all-time high, while the Nasdaq also finished at a record. Meanwhile, $BTC is telling a very different story. Bitcoin is still trading around the lower end of its recent range, making the contrast between traditional markets and crypto increasingly interesting. But I don't think the takeaway is “stocks are better than Bitcoin.” It's simpler than that: markets don't move together. As a crypto trader, it's easy to spend the entire day watching BTC, ETH and altcoins while completely ignoring what is happening in equities, commodities or indices. But sometimes the better setup is happening somewhere else. The S&P 500 at record highs is also relevant for Bitcoin because broader risk appetite, liquidity and institutional positioning can eventually influence crypto sentiment, even if the two markets don't move in lockstep. That's why I've been paying more attention to what's happening outside crypto. BingX's multi-asset offering makes it possible to follow crypto alongside stocks, indices, commodities and metals from the same ecosystem. I'm not abandoning $BTC . I'm just trying to avoid the mindset that being a crypto trader means only watching crypto. If the S&P 500 is making history, why wouldn't a Bitcoin trader at least be paying attention? #Bitcoin #BTC #SP500 #Crypto
